Bucket Machines
Features:
Sewer Equipment Company of America Bucket Machines are the best in
the world for both public works and private contractors interested in cost-
effective, complete evacuation of sand, heavy sludge, and solids from
large and small diameter underground pipes without the expense of
digging or large capital investment combination vacuum trucks.
Extremely effective in sewers that have high water flows which makes
jetting ineffective. Clean several sections without blocking traffic flow.
Power transmission is done through either a hydraulic drive or a
mechanical safety belt booster drive with adjustable tension. This will
allow the system to slip under extreme overload pulling conditions to
protect both pipe & machine. The daily work of Sewer Equipment
Company of America's Hydraulic Pull-In & Truck Loader Bucket Machines
demands a rugged design of heavy duty steel I-Beam base frames, with
the strongest in the industry vertical uprights constructed of steel
H-Beams for the really big jobs. Our primary cable drums have a
standard capacity of up to 1000 ft. of 1/2"e (300 M. of 13mm) steel wire
tow cable and have positive clutches designed for manual operation with
a positive locking safety handle that is easily engaged & disengaged.
Also available are optional 1500 ft. capacity units.
Hydraulic Pull-In Machines Feature:
Each trailer comes with an easy swivel, retractable positioning wheel
and two leaf-spring suspended pneumatic highway grade tires on a
single heavy duty steel axle. For operator safety the main primary cable
drum is never more than 10° from parallel from the vertical uprights in
order to provide maximum pulling capability and stability to the job.
Hydraulic Truck Loaders Feature:
All truck loaders are equipped with durable, heavy duty steel shaker
springs & discharge bars to automatically dump the debris from the pipe
into the waiting truck. We offer 3 different truck loader ramp sizes. All are
made of heavy gauge steel with I-Beam runners & 4" channel struts. All
ramps have multiple replaceable steel bucket skids for extended life of
the ramp.
Options & Accessories:
An optional Double Scroll is available for our truck loader bucket
machines. The Double Scroll is especially vital on large
diameter, heavy loads - as it enables the primary tow cable to be
evenly laid on to the drum and avoids excessive wearing of the
level winder due to the jarring strains of unusually heavy loads.
An optional Floating Scroll with Pull-In Units allows for heavy lifts,
while protecting the cable by uniformly wrapping the cable
without any damaging crossing action. This keeps your Pull-In
Unit's level winder in good operating condition much longer.
Multiple choices for power systems: We offer systems ranging
from 10 HP to 100 HP (7kW - 75kW) gasoline or diesel engines.
Typical accessories include electrical starters, heavy duty
alternators, 12-volt batteries, emergency cable drum reel crank,
ball or pintle tow hitch, safety chain, electrical connector plugs
and breakaway safety devices.
